
Chikkaballapur: A young man who performed risky stunts on top of Avalabetta hills in Chikkaballapura taluk and shared the video on social media was cautioned and asked to create another video advising against imitating his actions. In an effort to prevent accidents at Avalabetta hills, located 80km from Bengaluru, where many young people perform stunts and record videos, Chikkaballapur police recently restricted access to the hills and warned individuals about putting themselves in danger. Avalabetta hills, situated within the Peresandra police station limits, is a popular spot for youths who climb to the peak of a protruding rock to perform various stunts. A video showing a young man hanging from the dip of the rock caught the attention of the police. The police identified the young man, Akshay Kumar from Bagalkot, and brought him to Chikkaballapura on Saturday. Vishal Chowski, the Superintendent of Police in Chikkaballapura, revealed that Akshay Kumar had recently graduated and was preparing for competitive exams. He showed remorse for his reckless behavior and requested forgiveness from the police. Following an apology, he was released after creating a video urging people to refrain from visiting Avalabetta hills and engaging in dangerous stunts.
